Course Description
This course starts with an overview of the concept of Freemasonry’s direct link to the profession of the architectural trade. Tracing some historical
buildings and key figures throughout history, the course will delve into the realm of modern and postmodern architecture drawing parallels to Freemasonry today. Much as the connection of operative and speculative
masonry gave way to such a rich and powerful bonding tie between men in the craft today, the course will try to shine light on the connection between the modern Mason and the architecture in which he, as a part of society,
interacts.
Course Instructor
Brother Bradley J. Marin received his Master's in Architecture Degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2009. He is a member of Central Lodge #45 in China, Maine. He has been planning this course for us for nearly two years as he finished his academic studies.
