Maine Masonic College Notes
If you read NO other book about Rosslyn or the Templars, you must read this one. It debunks the entire genre of works begun by 'The Hiram Key' and provides fact upon fact to create a REALISTIC appraisal of the entire myth, perpetuated by the Sinclairs even through today. Bro. Cooper is the Curator of the Museum of the Grand Lodge of Scotland and puts his credentials as a historian into play, accessing source documents which none of the 'Templar Myth' writers have completely ignored. At times, this book becomes tiring as Cooper will tell you what he's going to tell you, then he'll tell you, and then he'll repeat it a couple of times further on just to be sure you haven't forgotten it. Literary format notwithstanding, the facts he exposes will keep you from having the fantasies which have plagued so much of the "research" done in this genre. Ed King

Summary
Much has been written over the years about Rosslyn Chapel and its connection with Scottish Freemasonry, as well the St.Clair family, the Knights Templar and a variety of 'lost treasures'. The author looks in depth at the validity of the published material and the legends associated with the Rosslyn Chapel exposing major differences between Scottish Freemasons' view of their history and heritage and that described by those who are not Freemasons.
