Maine Masonic College

You may be a 'Brother'
but are you a Friend....???Masonic Apron

Since the founding of the College, we've seen that those who attend a class are eager to return for more. Those who haven't, though, might be hesitant. They wonder what awaits them, whether it's worth their time and effort, and if they'll be somehow embarrassed.

While any fears or concerns are always ill-founded, we know they can keep folks from attending.

As a result, we've begun a Friends of the Maine Masonic College program.

What does a 'Friend' do?

Our Friends program is an outreach program. We want you to be a spokesperson, providing information about upcoming courses (and the Maine Masonic College in general) to lodges and districts as well as the public. You'll keep close contact with the District Educational Representative in your area, letting him know what we have available and ensuring that any need he might have is communicated to us.

You'll let us know about 'advertising' opportunities in your area and may be called upon to drop off brochures or program announcements.

Finally, and perhaps most important, you'll encourage program attendance. Perhaps this will involve bringing another person or two with you to a course you'll be attending. Perhaps it will be a reminder phone call to someone in the next town. The involvement is left to your discretion - but whatever you do, we'll be most appreciative!

Interested in becoming a Friend of the Maine Masonic College? Drop a note to Bro. Jim Ross and we'll get you started!
