Our Book Lists
The Maine Masonic College has prepared a series of reading lists with books that may be of interest to anyone seeking 'further light' in Freemasonry as well as in the topic areas outlined below.
Selection of books and their subject categories is purely arbitrary and does not in any way imply approval or recommendation by the Maine Masonic College, its Regents or Faculty, or the Grand Lodge of Masons in Maine. To the listings have been added certain comments made by Regents and those comments are identified as such.
And just two technical notes:
- While the cover jacket picture on these lists appears to be a hyperlink, the links go nowhere. Please ignore this. Thanks.
- This is a CONSTANTLY evolving work. What's here today will be expanded on by next week. We encourage you to browse anew each time you return.
We hope you will find this endeavor of interest.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you don't have a 17" monitor (or better), these listings
will look just awful to you. We're working on a way to improve this situation
so please bear with us. Alternatively, a new monitor might be a good investment, particularly with prices on them falling so very much. (Check to be sure your computer video card is compatible before buying though....)
NEW AND WORTHWHILE
This list will present the latest publications worthy of reading (and, perhaps, purchase).
We'll try to update this list about every six months so check back from time to time....
SYMBOLISM
Freemasonry is filled with symbolism.
Here's some reading on that topic.
CONSPIRACY
Whenever the topic of Freemasonry arises, someone is sure
to bring up this topic!
This list may help you select texts to fulfill your curiosity as well as providing some education.
